The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and the implementation of effective internal controls.

This role also plays a key part in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning to support the organization’s overall objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
• Manage general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, tax reporting, and month- and year-end closing processes.
• Ensure compliance with statutory laws, regulations, and internal company policies.
• Assist in the development of budgets and forecasts; monitor variances and provide financial insights.
• Conduct financial planning and analysis activities to support management decision-making.
• Evaluate and enhance accounting systems, processes, and internal control procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy
• 5 to 7 years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in a managerial role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proven leadership and team management capabilities
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
