About the Role:

We are seeking a Data Privacy Implementation Officer Consultant who will take the lead in implementing our organization's Data Privacy Program in compliance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and related regulations. The consultant will be primarily responsible for drafting, customizing, and ensuring the execution of the Data Privacy Manual, policies, and internal protocols throughout the organization.

This is a critical role in fostering a culture of privacy and security within the company while ensuring that all departments adhere to applicable data protection standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and finalize the Data Privacy Manual tailored to the organization’s structure, operations, and data processing practices.

• Lead the implementation of the data privacy framework across all departments.
• Conduct privacy risk assessments, gap analysis, and recommend actionable solutions.
• Provide guidance on data privacy policies, consent forms, privacy notices, and internal procedures.
• Coordinate with IT, HR, Legal, and Operations to ensure privacy compliance is integrated into daily workflows.
• Conduct training and awareness campaigns for employees and management on data privacy best practices.
• Assist in the establishment of internal privacy governance structures and documentation procedures.
• Serve as the main liaison with the Data Protection Officer (DPO), if separate, and ensure proper coordination.
• Monitor compliance and support preparation for audits or reviews by the National Privacy Commission (NPC).

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least 2–5 years of experience in data privacy, legal compliance, or related consulting work.
• Solid knowledge of the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and other relevant data protection laws and best practices.
• Demonstrated experience creating and implementing Data Privacy Manuals or similar governance documents.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and project management skills.
• Preferably with certifications in Data Privacy, Information Security, or Compliance (e.g., CDPO, CIPP, etc.)
