Description
- Develop comprehensive urban plans and policies for sustainable land use.
- Conduct data analysis and research to inform planning strategies.
- Collaborate with community stakeholders and government officials to gather input and address concerns.
- Evaluate zoning proposals, development applications, and environmental impact assessments.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to convey planning recommendations.
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Geography, or related field
- Experience Level: 2–5 years of experience in urban planning or related fields
- Skills and Competencies: Proficiency in GIS software and urban planning tools
- Qualities and Traits: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Responsibilities and Duties: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Working Conditions: Office-based with occasional fieldwork and community engagement activities
