Team Supervision and Leadership
- Supervises a team of Senior Associates and Associates, ensuring appropriate delegation and workload balancing across client engagements;
- Acts as a liaison between management and the team, communicating firm priorities, objectives, and process updates;
- Provides guidance and training on technical accounting matters, internal tools, and client handling;
- Identifies and addresses performance gaps; coaches team members to strengthen their technical and soft skills.
- Conducts regular evaluations and provide feedback to support team development and advancement, including initial promotion recommendations.
Motivation, Morale, and Support
- Fosters a supportive, respectful, and accountable team culture;
- Motivates and encourages team members, especially during peak periods or client escalations;
- Addresses morale issues proactively and act as a resource for resolving day-to-day concerns or interpersonal challenges.
Cross-Functional and Strategic Contributions
- Ensures high-quality handovers to North America counterparts for tasks needing follow-up during different time zones;
- Supports Directors and Associate Directors with administrative responsibilities, firm-wide initiatives, and special projects.
- Identifies and recommends opportunities for process improvements and technological enhancements within your team’s workflow.
In addition to the above functions, you may also be expected, from time to time, to assist in other non-operations work, as the need arises, and as determined by the Managing Directors of HC Global Business Solutions, LLC.
Job Specifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or related field;
- Property/Real Estate Accounting experience is highly preferred and considered a strong plus.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license preferred;
- At least 3–5 years of experience in accounting, including experience leading or supervising a team;
- Strong understanding of end-to-end accounting processes;
- Familiarity with cloud-based accounting platforms and relevant tools;
- Experience with customized chart of accounts and financial reporting packages;
- Leadership and team management skills;
- Excellent communication and client-handling skills;
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities;
