Job Title: Sales Trainer

Location: Philippines (WFH)

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Sales Trainer to join our team and support our US-based operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in BPO and sales, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in training and developing sales professionals. You will be responsible for designing and delivering impactful training programs to enhance the skills and performance of our sales team.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Training Program Development:

  • Design, develop, and implement sales training programs and materials, including onboarding, product knowledge, soft skills, and advanced selling techniques.
  • Tailor training content to align with US-based sales strategies and customer expectations.
  • Continuously update training materials to reflect industry best practices and new sales strategies.

Training Delivery:

  • Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions through virtual platforms and in-person (if applicable).
  • Facilitate new hire training, refresher courses, and skill enhancement sessions.
  • Implement role-playing, group discussions, and practical exercises to enhance learning outcomes.

Performance Monitoring and Feedback:

  • Assess the effectiveness of training programs by evaluating the performance of trainees.
  • Conduct post-training evaluations and gather feedback to identify areas of improvement.
  • Monitor the progress of sales representatives and provide coaching and support as needed.

Collaboration and Reporting:

  • Work closely with sales managers and team leads to identify training needs and performance gaps.
  • Provide regular reports on training outcomes, progress, and areas requiring attention.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop ongoing learning and development strategies.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Sales Trainer, preferably in the BPO industry.
  • Proven sales experience prior to working as a trainer (BPO sales experience highly preferred).
  • Excellent presentation, coaching, and facilitation skills.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and training methodologies.
  • Proficiency with virtual training tools and platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, etc).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Has a good work environment and own equipment (laptop/desktop with i5 processor or higher, at least 8GB RAM, internet speed not lower than 50mbps and back-up ISP and power source)
  • Ability to work US business hours and adapt to shifting priorities.
