The IDS Medical Systems Group (“idsMED Group”) is a leading integrated medical supply chain solutions company in ASEAN for almost a decade. It represents over 200 global medical brands in equipment and medical consumables, focusing on various specialty divisions including Intensive Care, Infection Control, Surgical Workplace, Diagnostic Imaging, Patient Support System, Cardiovascular, O&G and Peri-natal, among others.
As a member of Fung Investments, idsMED Group has offices in the six markets - Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam. It provides a comprehensive distribution and value-added service network to over 10,000 healthcare facilities, including government and private hospitals, day surgery centres, specialist and primary care clinics, laboratories and nursing homes.
With 1,800 employees, including 800 professionally qualified medical and sales personnel and over 300 skilled bio-medical engineers, idsMED offers a one-stop solution for marketing and sales, biomedical engineering services, clinical care, reliable product management and logistics services.
idsMED Learning Academy
The idsMED Learning Academy is an extension of our continuing medical education in delivering value-added solutions and services. With a strong emphasis on healthcare education and training, the idsMED Learning Academy, with its state-of-the-art education centres, provides learning and growth opportunities to the region’s healthcare practitioners.
Apart from the Asian Healthcare Leadership Summit, which involves business leaders and healthcare professionals from the regional networks of the Group, idsMED also organises regular country-based healthcare forums. These forums facilitate local academics, healthcare professionals and practitioners as well as policymakers to network and conduct interactive sharing of knowledge and experience.
Other Services
In recent years, idsMED has focused on developing new services to provide more value-added solutions to the healthcare industry. Under Healthcare Advisory Services, we now offer a full suite of advisory solutions to help healthcare institutions set up, achieve operational efficiency and grow internal capabilities.
Our integrated regional IT platform enables the idsMED Group to offer effective inventory management and logistics services for delivery. Other idsMED services include Biomedical Services, Financial Product Solutions, Sourcing and Supply Chain Management, Digital Healthcare & Technology, among many others.
To provide sterilisation and wash-hire services in the Asia-Pacific region, the Group has also formed idsMED Servizi Plus, a joint venture between idsMED and Servizi Italia, a public listed Italian-based company.
