Out of Nowhere Kitchen Inc. began operating in October 2016 within a dormitory building in Brgy. Alfonso Anglionto, Lanang, Davao City. Originally conceived as a casual dining spot, the concept evolved into a full-fledged restaurant due to popular demand. The entire structure, from rooms to fixtures, and even the interior design, was meticulously crafted in a DIY fashion by the owners. Artistic elements like murals were hand-painted by a local artist hired specifically for the project. The restaurant’s name, Out of Nowhere Kitchen, reflects its unconventional location, which was initially perceived as remote and hard to find. It symbolizes the owners’ vision to offer a distinctive dining experience with a diverse menu and a welcoming ambiance, where management brainstorm ideas “out of nowhere.”
