Description

  • Provide property data, answer inquiries regarding available units, pricing, amenities, and lease terms.
  • Coordinate property showings, appointments, and events to attract prospective tenants.
  • Assist with the leasing process by preparing, managing lease applications and rental agreements.
  • Handle move-ins and move-outs, ensuring all paperwork is complete, accurate, and approved on time.
  • Ensure lease renewals are processed in a timely manner.
  • Keep accurate records of tenant interactions, expenses, applications, and lease statuses.
  • Manage and update the property’s rental listings on various platforms.
  • Assist with marketing efforts, including social media to attract new tenants.
  • Provide administrative support, including answering phones, emails, and handling inquiries.
  • Ensure the leasing office is organized and operational, maintaining cleanliness and professionalism.

Requirements

  • Education & Experience:
  1. Some college coursework or a degree in real estate, or a related field (preferred).
  2. Previous experience in property management, leasing, sales, or customer service is preferred, but not always required.


  • Skills & Abilities:
  1. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with potential tenants, existing residents, and team members.
  2. Customer Service: Ability to provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with tenants and prospects.
  3. Organization: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Attention to Detail: Accuracy in preparing and processing lease applications, contracts, and property records.
  5. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to address tenant inquiries or concerns and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  6. Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.


  • Technical Proficiency:
  1. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
  2. Basic knowledge of email, internet, and office equipment.


  • Physical Requirements:
  1. Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs during property showings.
  2. Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs (e.g., office supplies, marketing materials).


  • Other Requirements:
  1. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as needed.
  2. Professional appearance and demeanor.
