As an Accounting Assistant at Achieve Without Borders Networks Inc., you'll be at the heart of our accounting department, providing crucial support through various administrative and clerical tasks. Responsibilities

• Execute monthly bank reconciliation to ensure financial reconciliation.
• Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable with meticulous attention to detail.
• Filing and Preparation of VAT (2550Q) and Expanded Withholding Tax(0619E/1601EQ) Returns ensuring that the reported data are matched with the supporting documents.
• Encoding of Summary List of Sales and Purchases (SLSP), Quarterly and Annual Alphalist of Payees (QAP/1604E attachment) and Summary Alphalist of Withholding Tax at Source (SAWT).
• Generate and issue invoices to clients/customers based on contractual agreements, purchase orders, or service completion.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and ensure that physical stock matches recorded data in the system.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical inventory and inventory records
• Reconcile inventory reports and support monthly and quarterly stock audits
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and critical documents as part of the financial reporting process.
• Contribute to month-end and year-end closing procedures, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Provide support to the accounting team through participation in ad-hoc projects and tasks, showcasing flexibility.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and procedures.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s/College Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
• With at least 2 years proven experience in Accounting
• Demonstrated eagerness to learn and excel in the field of accounting.
• Preferred background in handling accounts receivable and accounts payable in a similar company, demonstrating versatile skills.
• Proven experience in an accounting or finance role, gained through internships, part-time positions, or other ventures.
• Strong knowledge of basic Philippine accounting principles and practices and Basic Taxation.
• Proficiency in MS Office or Google Suite applications, especially Excel/Spreadsheets.
• Familiarity with accounting software like QuickBooks or SAP.
