Gauge Control

• Preparation, updating/ revising, improvement, and checking of all related inspection documents, inspection standards, checksheet, work instruction, etc.
• Checking, monitoring, and analyzing inspection results based on quality control standards.
• Monitor gear condition after heat treatment process and conduct heat distortion analysis to achieve finished gear target.
• Monitoring and ordering of shaving test pieces.
• Monitoring and analyzing defects and preparation of reports and proposals for improvements.
• Ensure that inspection required on each line process is being followed.

Cutting Tool Management

• Monitoring, forecasting, and ordering of all QC cutting tools.
• Preparation of inventory lists needed during annual and midyear inventory.
• Analyze cutting tools problems/ damages and formulate improvement measures.
• Study and analysis of cutting conditions to improve tool life and minimize cutting tool expense.
• Control of obsolete cutting tools
• Ensure that all spare cutting tools conforms to quality requirement prior storage and utilization
• Ensure the availability if cutting tools while maintaining minimum inventory level.

QC Measuring Machines

• Ensure that correct gear specification are used in all CLP machine.
• Ensure that required calibration schedule are strictly followed (monthly, weekly, annually)

Added Responsibility

• Back-up of QC Staff 3, in case of absence.

• Graduate of any Engineering Course (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Industrial/ Electronics)
• With or Without work experience
• Computer literate, MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), AutoCAD drawing
• Can interpret mechanical drawing symbols
• Basic knowledge using micrometers/ calipers
