Job Summary:

• A Barista is responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages, especially coffee-based drinks, while providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate should have experience in catering or à la carte service, demonstrating versatility in both beverage preparation and food service support. They will uphold quality standards, maintain cleanliness, and ensure customer satisfaction at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages such as espresso, coffee, teas, smoothies, and specialty drinks.
• Ensure consistent quality in beverage preparation and presentation.
• Take customer orders and deliver excellent service with a friendly and professional attitude.
• Assist in food service operations including plating, serving, and coordinating with kitchen staff for catering or à la carte orders.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including coffee machines and equipment.
• Restock inventory and monitor supplies for beverages, condiments, and food items.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines at all times.
• Handle cash and operate POS systems accurately.
• Provide support during catered events and assist with food and drink setup and service.
• Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely and efficient service during à la carte dining periods.

Qualifications:

• High school graduate or equivalent; HRM graduate or TESDA NC II in Food and Beverage is a plus.
• At least 1-2 years of experience as a Barista or in a café environment.
• Experience in catering or à la carte food service is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of coffee brewing methods and barista techniques.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced setting.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
