Job Summary:

We are seeking a results-driven and highly experienced Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in API integration, bills payment systems, billers management, and financial transactions. This role is instrumental in delivering innovative payment solutions by translating business needs into technical requirements and ensuring successful system implementations.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end business analysis process for financial services initiatives, particularly in bills payment and transaction systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Technology, Compliance, and Operations to gather and define business requirements.
• Design and document API specifications and ensure smooth integration between internal systems and third-party billers or payment gateways.
• Analyze and map data flows, system interactions, and user journeys for various financial transaction processes.
• Drive the onboarding and integration of new billers into the ecosystem, ensuring alignment with regulatory and technical standards.
• Conduct business process modeling, gap analysis, and feasibility assessments for new features or product enhancements.
• Translate business requirements into detailed user stories, functional specifications, and technical documents.
• Lead and facilitate stakeholder workshops, requirement elicitation sessions, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for all topics related to payment APIs, biller transactions, and digital financial services.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend data-driven improvements to optimize system efficiency and user experience.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Business Analyst or Product Analyst role, with at least 2 years in a senior capacity.
• Proven experience in API integration, bills payment systems, biller onboarding, and financial transaction flows.
• Strong understanding of payment infrastructures, fintech ecosystems, and digital wallet environments.
• Proficiency in creating BRDs, FSDs, process flows, and wireframes.
• Comfortable using tools such as Postman, Swagger, JIRA, Confluence, and other analysis/project management platforms.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

Preferred:

• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Familiarity with local and international payment regulations (e.g., BSP, AMLA, ISO 20022).
• Exposure to fintech startups or enterprise-level financial systems.
