Descrição:

  • The Warehouse Assistant plays a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse. This position is critical to maintaining accurate inventory records, supporting timely deliveries, and upholding high standards of safety, organization, and compliance. As a Warehouse Assistant, you will collaborate closely with logistics personnel, drivers, and management to coordinate schedules, manage documentation, and ensure the smooth flow of goods in and out of the facility. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong organizational skills, and takes ownership of daily operational tasks that directly support business continuity and customer satisfaction.

 

  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and returns.
  • Conduct monthly and year-end inventory counts, reconciling discrepancies to ensure stock accuracy.
  • Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe, passing 100% safety and cleanliness audits.
  • Schedule and coordinate deliveries and sample productions.
  • Oversee drivers' schedules, ensuring efficient routing and on-time delivery performance.
  • Support fire safety inspections, ensuring zero non-compliance items during scheduled checks and maintaining up-to-date safety logs.
  • File and securely store warehouse documents.
  • Ensure safekeeping of warehouse keys, with no unauthorized access incidents.

Requisito

Qualifications

  • A two-year diploma is acceptable; a college degree is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency (e.g., MS Excel, inventory systems).
  • Good communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift moderate loads and work in a physically active setting.
