About the Role:

As a Junior Financial Analyst at Smart Communications, you'll play a crucial role in managing the overall development, communication, and implementation of strategies related to tracking financial performance. You'll provide valuable financial insights, information, forecasts, and analysis for your assigned business unit (BU). This is your chance to be a financial strategic partner and ensure alignment of finance strategy with business priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a financial strategic partner to the assigned BU, ensuring alignment of finance strategy with business priorities.
• Review business cases, commission schemes, and other initiatives requiring Finance approvals.
• Coordinate with various business units in the preparation of budgets and latest outlooks.
• Examine costs, Statements of Work (SOWs), and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) to ensure project costs are within budget and aligned with cost-saving guidelines.
• Consolidate Capital Expenditures (Capex) and Operating Expenses (Opex) reports and provide analysis to management.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

What We're Looking For:

• Education: Graduate of a Business course (e.g., Commerce, Accountancy, Economics).
• Experience: No or less than 1 year of relevant work experience as a business finance analyst or accounting staff.
• Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, presentation, decision-making, and analytical skills. Adept in financial analysis and investigation. Exposure to marketing and operations, project management, and collaboration. Detail and process-oriented.
• Technical Competencies: Proficiency in MS Office, SAP S4 Financial (FI) Module, Asset Module, Investment Module, and Materials Module.
