What is a Server Administrator?
The role of a server administrator can be defined as someone who has the knowledge and skills to manage and handle operating system level development work both within a single machine or a cluster of machines. S/he will also be entrusted to oversee the seamlessness of such a setup in terms of operational readiness.
Syarat-syarat :
• Handle Windows Server operating systems across multiple machines in terms of upkeeping system performance, troubleshooting issues and bug fixing
• Work closely with the project team on operating system maintenance procedures including but not limiting to routine maintenance, preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance
• Tend to users’ issues with the operating system in a timely manner, handle such stakeholder communications till issue resolution
• Apply patches, updates, security configurations such as hotfixes
• Implement and manage backup files and ensure that such backup files are suitable for restoration operations
• Leverage on your knowledge of Windows Operating Systems to work on operating system upgrades
• Maintaining technical documentation for maintenance-related work
• Embark on any other tasks as assigned by the Project Manager
