Descrição:

Oversee the tax compliance of assigned clients, ensuring all returns are accurately filed and paid on or before deadlines.
Monitor SEC compliance requirements and assist in preparing financial statements for regular and special projects.
Update books of accounts, quarterly and annual financial statements, and do the adjustments when necessary.
Ensure all financial statements and reports are submitted on time, reviewed thoroughly, and aligned with government standards.
Supervise and mentor a Junior Accountant, ensuring knowledge transfer, workload balance, and performance development.
Track the accomplishments and deadlines of the team buddy, ensuring alignment with KPIs and KRAs.
Ensure accurate tax payments via Union Bank and other online platforms.
Prepare client reports and recommendations on a quarterly basis and attend client meetings as required.
Handle onboarding and transition of new retainer clients before starting the tasks.
Coordinate the preparation and submission of other mandatory government reports (BIR, SEC, etc.).
Ensure proper documentation, digital filing, and organization of client files on the server.
Take charge of accounting functions in case of another team member's absence.
Stay updated on BIR and SEC regulations and share updates with the team.
Participate in improving internal processes, procedures, and controls within the team.

Requisito

Graduate of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy
CPA license is an advantage but not required
Minimum of three - five (3 - 5) years of relevant work experience in accounting, with expertise in General Accounting, Philippine Taxation, and Bookkeeping
Proficient in Xero, QuickBooks Online, and Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Highly adaptable, willing to learn, and open to new challenges
Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
