Descrição:
- Financial Reporting & Oversight
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly and annual financial statements.
- Consolidate reports from multiple restaurant branches and provide financial analysis to management.
- Cost Control & Budget Management
- Develop and manage budgets; monitor variances and control food, labor, and overhead costs.
- Analyze profit and loss statements by branch and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
- Payroll Administration
- Supervise the payroll process, ensuring accurate computation of wages, tips, overtime, and deductions.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Accounts Management
- Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable, ensuring accuracy and timely settlements.
- Monitor cash handling processes and implement controls at the branch level.
- Inventory & POS Reconciliation
- Coordinate with branch teams to reconcile inventory reports with POS and accounting records.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in stock movements and usage.
- Tax Filing & Compliance
- Ensure timely filing of BIR reports, VAT, and other statutory requirements.
- Maintain organized and audit-ready documentation for tax and regulatory inspections.
- Banking & Cash Flow Monitoring
- Monitor daily bank balances, prepare cash flow forecasts, and manage fund transfers and deposits.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Team Leadership & Coordination
- Lead and mentor the accounting team, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and professional development.
- Coordinate with HR, operations, and management to support cross-functional processes.
- Confidentiality & Internal Controls
- Enforce internal controls to protect company assets and financial data.
- Ensure strict confidentiality of payroll, contracts, and other sensitive information.
Requisito
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality sector
- At least 2 years of supervisory or managerial experience
- Knowledge of POS systems, inventory, and cost management in F&B operations
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and MS Excel
- Strong understanding of BIR compliance and DOLE wage regulations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills
- High attention to detail and integrity
