We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accounting Officer to join our team.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience in accounting or related work
- Knowledgeable in government tax processes and compliance requirements
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficient in MS Office and basic accounting software
- Board certification (CPA) not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle day-to-day accounting operations, including recording, monitoring, and verifying financial transactions (with an accounting clerk)
- Prepare and file government-mandated tax returns and other regulatory requirements
- Assist in preparing financial reports and supporting documents
- Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations
- Support the finance department with other related tasks as needed
