Building Maintenance Technician

- Conduct regular inspections of the building’s system and structures to identify issue before they become major problem.
- Handle minor repair for plumbing, electrical system, HVAC, roofing, and other building systems.
- Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule schedule for equipment and system.
- Ensure that all building systems function efficiently and their expected lifespan.
- Oversee cleaning and upkeep of common areas, ensuring that they are safe and welcoming.
- Coordinate and communicate with external contractor and service provider for specialized repair and maintenance.
- Ensure that the building complies with local, state and federal building codes and safety regulations.
- Proven experience in building maintenance or related field.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general building repair techniques.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to worth both independently and as part of the team.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that might include lifting, climbing, and using various tools.
