General maintenance and repair workers fix and maintain machines, mechanical equipment, and buildings. They paint, repair flooring, and work on plumbing, electrical, and air-conditioning and heating systems.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Maintain and repair machines, mechanical equipment inside the restaurant
• Knowledgeable in carpentry, and plumbing.
• Fix or replace faulty electrical switches, outlets, and circuit breakers
• Assemble, set up and installing machinery or equipment
• Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment.
• Performing preventative maintenance.
• Handling basic repairs and maintenance.
• Overseeing contractors when professional repairs are necessary.
• Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them.
• Repairing machines, equipment, or structures as necessary.
