Job Desc:

• Product Selection and Assortment: Curate a compelling and diverse product range that meets customer needs and preferences
• Sales Growth and Revenue: Drive sales by selecting the right products, optimizing pricing strategies, and implementing promotional campaigns.
• Inventory Management: Maintain optimal stock levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts, ensuring inventory turnover aligns with sales targets.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in merchandising, buying, or purchasing within e-commerce or retail environments.
• Experience managing online product ranges, categories, or categories relevant to the retailer.
• Capable to analyze sales data, market trends, and customer preferences.
• Proficiency in using analytics tools and software (e.g., Excel, Tableau, or specialized retail analytics platforms).
• Experience negotiating with suppliers and managing vendor relationships.
• Understanding of customer needs and shopping behaviors.
• Ability to select and optimize product assortments based on customer insights.
• Ability to negotiation, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, logistics, and product teams.
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Astro, etc.) and inventory/sales management systems.
• A degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or related fields is often preferred.
