Sales Officer (Technology Solutions)


Overview

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Officer to join our team. The Sales Officer will be responsible for promoting and selling technology products and solutions, managing client relationships, and achieving sales targets. This role requires a consultative approach, ensuring that clients receive solutions tailored to their business needs.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell the company’s technology products, solutions, and services to new and existing clients.
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations to showcase features and value.
  • Understand customer requirements and recommend the most suitable solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships through consistent follow-up and account management.
  • Handle customer inquiries and escalate complex or technical issues to sales manager or technical teams.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and client interactions.
  • Collaborate with marketing and technical support teams to deliver effective client solutions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings.
  • Achieve individual and team sales targets as assigned by the Senior Sales Officer or Sales Manager.
  • Perform other tasks as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
  • At least 1–3 years of proven sales experience, ideally in technology, IT solutions, or B2B sales.
  • Strong interest in technology products and ability to translate technical features into business value.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with consultative selling ability.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in achieving sales goals.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office applications is an advantage.
