Being present and understanding daily staff briefings and adheres to what has been discussed
Communicating any positives and negatives with the direct supervisor and fellow staff members
Works towards improvements discussed during performance reviews
Maintains a pace of service that supports the timely delivery of service
Trains juniors kitchen members in equipment use, standards and tasks
Welcomes customers and assists in any questions that they may have
Assists in restocking shelves, putting away deliveries and arranging displays as needed Maintains a clean and organised work environment
Helps servers and runners when necessary
Requisito
At least 2–3 years of experience in a professional kitchen or relevant culinary role.
Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and sanitation standards.
Ability to manage a kitchen section, including preparation, ordering, setup, and close down.
Good understanding of guest service standards and willingness to engage with customers when needed.
Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors.
Capable of training and mentoring junior staff.
Strong time management and ability to maintain pace of service during busy hours.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
Physical stamina to handle long hours in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Flexibility to assist in various tasks (restocking, deliveries, supporting servers/runners).
Positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and willingness to learn and grow.
