Position: Chinese Cook

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chinese Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in authentic Chinese cuisine and demonstrate expertise in a variety of traditional cooking techniques. The Chinese Cook will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining consistency in taste and presentation, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards.

• Prepare and cook a wide range of Chinese dishes, including dim sum, stir-fries, noodles, and soups.
• Ensure all food items are prepared and presented according to recipes and company standards.
• Manage food preparation and kitchen operations efficiently during service hours.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation and kitchen.
• Monitor food inventory and coordinate with the kitchen team for ordering supplies.
• Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Adjust cooking methods and menu items based on customer preferences and seasonal availability.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and cleanliness in all kitchen operations.
• Assist with training and mentoring junior kitchen staff if required

- Proven experience as a Chinese cook in a professional kitchen.

- In-depth knowledge of Chinese cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavors.

- Proficiency in preparing traditional Chinese dishes (e.g., dim sum, stir-fries, noodles, soups).

- Strong knife skills and ability to handle kitchen equipment safely.

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

- Familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards.

- Attention to detail in presentation and flavor consistency.

- Ability to follow recipes and adapt to menu changes as needed.

- Flexibility to work in shifts, including nights and weekends.
