DMMP XCVII CONSTRUCTION
A Construction Worker is responsible for performing various physical tasks on construction sites to assist in building, repairing, or demolishing structures. They operate tools, carry materials, and ensure the worksite remains safe and productive. Construction workers contribute to the successful completion of projects by following instructions and collaborating with other team members.
Technical Skills:
Familiarity with construction tools and equipment.
Basic knowledge of construction methods and materials.
Ability to read and understand blueprints or instructions (preferred).
Physical Requirements:
Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy objects and work long hours.
Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments.
Good hand-eye coordination and balance.
Soft Skills:
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
Basic communication skills to interact with coworkers and supervisors.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required).
Prior experience in construction or a related field (preferred but not required).
Certifications, such as OSHA safety training, are a plus.
