DESCORP INC. is seeking a talented and experienced New Product Development Manager to join our team in Makati City, Metro Manila. As the New Product Development Manager, you will play a vital role in driving the company's growth and innovation strategy. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for leading the development and launch of new products that align with our overarching business objectives.

What you'll be doing

Market Research and Analysis

• Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.
• Analyze data to assess market opportunities, customer preferences, and potential demand for new products.

Idea Generation and Concept Development

• Generate ideas for new products or product enhancements based on market insights and company goals.
• Develop product concepts and define features, functionalities, and target audience.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Brand and Sales throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Work closely with Brand, Sales, and Finance to ensure product feasibility and alignment with market requirements.

Product Planning and Roadmapping

• Develop product roadmaps outlining key milestones, timelines, and resource requirements for product development and launch.

Prototyping and Testing

• Oversee the development of prototypes and conduct product testing to evaluate performance, usability, and customer satisfaction.
• Iterate on product designs based on feedback from testing and making necessary refinements.

Regulatory Compliance

• Work with Regulatory Pharmacy to obtain necessary approvals and certifications for product launch.

Continuous Improvement

• Conduct post-launch reviews and gather customer feedback to identify areas for product improvement or future iterations.
• Stay updated on industry trends, customer preferences, and technological advancements to inform future product development initiatives.
• Other responsibilities related to the job as seen fit.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in new product development, preferably in the beauty or skincare manufacturing industries
• Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and best practices in new product development
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams
• Proficient in market research, data analysis, and financial modelling to justify product investments
• Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the box
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to effectively collaborate with various teams
