Analysing and reporting on various cost drivers, including material, labour, and overhead costs
Preparing and interpreting cost reports, budgets, and variance analyses to support decision-making
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
Providing support and training to the finance team on cost accounting best practices
Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and other regulatory reporting

A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Industrial Engineering or a related field
At least 3-5 years of experience in a cost accounting or financial analysis role, preferably in the manufacturing or production industry
Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, including cost allocation, variance analysis, and standard costing
Proficiency in using financial software and spreadsheet applications, such as Microsoft Excel
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Certifications such as CMA or CPA would be an advantage
