Data Analyst

Intramuros Campus, Onsite

Staff-level Position

The Data Analyst will provide high-quality data analysis and reporting to support decision-making, planning, and communication at Mapúa University. This role will be responsible for developing data-driven insights, visualizations, and forecasting models to inform and support the strategic direction of the University. The Data Analyst will ensure data integrity, facilitate efficient access to information, and generate reports that highlight opportunities for process improvements and institutional growth.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in data analytics, data mining, statistical analysis, or a related field.
• Experience in an academic or educational environment is an advantage.
• Proven experience with data visualization tools, such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Strong background in data management, statistical analysis, and reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with database tools and querying.
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for decision-making.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to convey technical findings to non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of programming languages, such as Python or SQL, is an asset.
