Salary Range: ₱40,000 – ₱50,000

Job Summary

We are seeking a Data Engineer to design and maintain robust, scalable, and secure data models to support application development across multiple systems (ERP, CRM, internal platforms). The ideal candidate will work closely with developers, business units, and reporting teams to optimize backend data structures and ensure data reliability, performance, and accessibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable and secure data models for application and reporting use.
• Collaborate with developers to refine backend data structures across new and existing systems.
• Support and troubleshoot database performance issues (tuning, indexing, query optimization).
• Prepare and transform raw data from multiple sources for consumption by BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
• Develop and maintain data integration pipelines for dashboards and executive reporting.
• Serve as a key liaison between IT and business stakeholders, translating reporting needs into scalable data solutions.
• Participate in requirements gathering for application development and reporting initiatives.
• Ensure data governance standards and security best practices are followed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or Accounting.
• Solid experience with SQL, ETL processes, and relational database design.
• Proficiency in BI/reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Familiarity with data modeling, CI/CD, and data governance frameworks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills—able to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage tasks, and prioritize effectively.
