Finstro has been solving financial challenges within B2B Trade finance since 2014 and served global businesses with over $1 billion in Trade Payments.

Finstro provides a complete cashflow management platform, enabling customer and supplier payments and providing innovative credit-based solutions to help businesses grow.

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer(s) to ensure Finstro has the best software delivery from a technical capability and capacity perspective. The role manages all cloud environments (currently AWS) working closely with the delivery teams following Agile practices.

The role will be Agile led in a CI/CD environment that is continuously measured and improved, running in the most efficient and automated way, managing the complete AWS life cycle, along with security, provisioning, optimisation, performance improvement and automation.

You will collaborate closely with developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders to design, implement, and maintain efficient and scalable infrastructure solutions.

Principal Accountabilities

• Provide technical expertise to a multi-disciplinary team of application, data and infrastructure professionals to implement the architecture, including those distributed across geographical boundaries
• Will resolve escalated infrastructure issues, using influence, negotiation, and a deep understanding of the technology and people involved.
• Design DevOps roadmap across Engineering, QA and Operations
• Hands-on build out of CD/CI pipelines, Cloud Infrastructure architecture, Network configuration and support of Canary releases.
• Working closely with multiple engineering, product and support teams to coordinate DevOps work and participate in Change Control processes.
• Manage 3rd Party dependencies from an environment perspective.
• Set up backend environments SIT, UAT, DEV, PROD
• Deploy installs from a CI/CD perspective, setup, and maintenance.
• Escalate technical problems as required, if cannot solve DR type situations.
• Gather information from the internal customer to understand their drivers of business value.

Position Requirements

• Passionate about Continuous Build, Integration, Test, Delivery and Monitoring
• 6+ years building CD/CI pipelines with tools like GitHub Actions, Bamboo, Spinnaker, Jenkins
• 3+ years working with Cloud providers (AWS, Google Cloud)
• 2+ years with Terraform for Infrastructure as code.
• Expert with Git and artifact/container hosting tools like Artifactory
• Expert with Linux system tuning/management, bash scripting and running software in Docker/Kubernetes
• Solid understanding of networking protocols, network security, load balancing
• Ability to program in a scripting language such as Python, Ruby
• Participate in projects than span multiple teams from requirements to production in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent communication in English, both verbally and written to all levels within the organization including non-technical audience
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience

The role will be based out of our Manila office in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.

Candidates must be willing to work full time onsite whilst on probation and may transition to Finstro's Flexible Work Arrangements afterward, subject to mutual agreement with their manager.
