• Safe Operation of Vehicle: Operate assigned vehicle(s) in a safe and responsible manner, following all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Transportation of Goods/Passengers: Transport goods, passengers, or both according to schedule and route instructions, ensuring timely delivery and pickup.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine vehicle inspections, maintenance checks, and minor repairs as needed to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle(s).
• Loading and Unloading: Assist with the loading and unloading of goods or passengers, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo to prevent damage or injury.
• Route Planning: Plan and optimize driving routes to minimize travel time and fuel consumption while maximizing efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Navigation: Use GPS devices, maps, or other navigation tools to navigate unfamiliar routes and reach destinations safely and on time.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to passengers or clients, assisting with their needs and addressing any concerns or inquiries in a courteous and professional manner.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, vehicle inspections, and other relevant documentation as required by company policies or regulations.
• Communication: Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and other team members to provide updates on delivery/pickup status, traffic conditions, and any issues encountered during transportation.
