The Electrical Engineer QA/QC Inspector is responsible for ensuring all electrical works and installations meet project specifications, industry codes (e.g., IEC, NEC, IEEE), and quality standards. This role includes inspection, testing, documentation, and coordination with site teams to ensure safe and compliant execution of electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and verify electrical installations, including power distribution systems, grounding, lighting, cable trays, conduits, and equipment connections.
• Review technical documents such as electrical drawings, method statements, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and material submittals.
• Conduct inspections and tests on electrical equipment like switchgear, transformers, motors, panels, MCCs, and generators.
• Witness and document electrical tests such as insulation resistance, continuity, loop checks, hi-pot, and functional testing.
• Ensure compliance with standards such as IEC, NEC, IEEE, and client specifications.
• Check conformity of materials and components against approved data sheets and delivery notes.
• Monitor installation practices and ensure proper implementation of electrical safety measures.
• Identify non-conformities and issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs); follow up on corrective/preventive actions.
• Maintain QA/QC records such as inspection reports, daily logs, and test results.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors for joint inspections and approvals.
• Support commissioning, testing, and final handover activities.
• Participate in audits and quality reviews and help ensure ISO 9001 compliance

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum [3–7] years of experience in electrical QA/QC inspection (construction, oil & gas, utilities, or industrial projects).
• Familiar with testing tools and procedures (e.g., Megger, earth tester, multimeter, primary/secondary injection test kits).
• Knowledge of electrical codes and standards: IEC, NEC, IEEE, NFPA 70, BS, etc.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical single-line diagrams, wiring schematics, and P&IDs.
• Certifications such as ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, CompEx, or LV/MV/HV testing experience is an advantage.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward quality and safety.
