Descrição:

Issues Purchase Orders (P.O.) and coordinates directly with foreign suppliers.
Communicates and collaborates with foreign suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure efficient and accurate processing of international purchases.
Provides timely updates to all concerned departments regarding the status of importations.
Collects and prepares all required documents for Customs releasing, including the application for Authority to Release Imported Goods (ATRIG) prior to shipment departure.
Sends translated documents to relevant departments both before and upon the arrival of shipments.
Ensures correct and timely application of all necessary import documentation with government agencies (e.g., BIR, Insurance, Customs).
Coordinates with suppliers to resolve product issues, such as discrepancies, damages, or breakages.
Monitors stock availability and supply levels of imported goods.
Assists the Warehouse Department in receiving and verifying shipments when required.
Maintains strong working relationships with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure a smooth importation process.
Processes and safeguards confidential information such as supplier databases, price lists, and contracts.
Maintains, updates, and monitors records of foreign payables to ensure all payments are made before due dates.
Verifies the accuracy of billings before forwarding to the Finance Department to avoid over- or underpayments.
Prepares cost estimates for imports and coordinates closely with the Finance Department to manage importation budgets.
Organizes and maintains comprehensive importation records, ensuring all pertinent documents are properly filed and accessible.
