Descrição:

An Industrial Electrician installs, maintains, repairs, and troubleshoots electrical systems and equipment in industrial settings, ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing facilities and other industrial environments. They work with complex electrical systems, often involving high voltage, and must be knowledgeable about electrical codes and safety regulations. 


Installation:

  • Installing new electrical systems and components, including wiring, conduits, and control panels. 


Maintenance:

  • Performing regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment is in good working order. 


Repair:

  • Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults and malfunctions. 


Troubleshooting:

  • Identifying and resolving complex electrical problems using technical documents and tools. 


Testing:

  • Testing electrical systems and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance. 


Safety:

  • Adhering to all relevant electrical codes and safety regulations. 
  • Reading Schematics:
  • Interpreting blueprints and schematics to understand electrical system layouts. 
  • Working with Control Systems:
  • Understanding and working with various types of control systems, such as PLCs. 


Essential Skills:

Requisito
