Job Opening: Jr. IT Specialist

Department: IT

• Provide first-line technical support to end users for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Assist with system upgrades, patches, and updates.
• Monitor and respond to help desk tickets in a timely and professional manner.
• Support user account management (creation, modification, and deactivation).
• Help maintain inventory of IT hardware and software assets.
• Assist in setting up workstations and onboarding new employees.
• Collaborate with senior IT staff on projects and escalated issues.
• Maintain IT documentation and user guides.
• Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security procedures.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2-5 years of relevant IT support experience (internships or part-time roles considered).
• Understanding of Windows and/or macOS operating systems.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 and common business applications.
• Knowledge of networking concepts (LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, IP addressing).
