The Japanese Language Owner will be responsible for managing and overseeing all Japanese-language content across the company. This role involves translating content from English to Japanese , ensuring cultural appropriateness, and maintaining the

highest standards of quality and accuracy. The ideal candidate will be a native Japanese speaker with high English proficiency, with a strong understanding of linguistic nuances and cultural context in the Japanese crypto space.

1. Content Management:

• Take full ownership of all Japanese -language content across the company, particularly our website, app, and trading functions.
• Ensure all Japanese -language content aligns with the company’s brand voice and messaging.
• Maintain consistency in terminology and style across all platforms and documents.

2. Translation and Localization:

• Translate content from English to Japanese , ensuring accuracy and cultural relevance.
• Adapt content to suit the Japanese market while maintaining the original message and tone.
• Review and edit translated content for quality and accuracy.

3. Quality Assurance:

• Conduct thorough quality checks on all Japanese -language content.
• Identify and correct linguistic errors, inconsistencies, and inaccuracies.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure the highest quality of translated content.

4. Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with the head of localization, business development personnel, product and operations managers, and other stakeholders to understand content requirements.
• Provide linguistic and cultural insights to enhance content effectiveness.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of projects.

• Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, Communications, or a related field.
• Native proficiency in Japanese and fluency in English.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience as a professional translator.
• Proficiency and experience with localization workflows, including translation memories, termbase management, and TMS platforms.
• Strong understanding of Japanese culture and market preferences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in a similar role within the crypto or finance sector.
• 3+ years’ experience as a client-side in-house linguist.
• Prior experience translating in the CrowdIn translation management system.
• Ability to communicate with stakeholders in Chinese.
• Ability to translate from Chinese to your target language.
