Entering and processing financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
Reconciling bank statements and credit card accounts on a regular basis
Preparing and filing tax-related documents
Assisting with the preparation of financial reports and statements
Providing administrative support to the accounting team
Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
Prepare and issue invoices to clients.
Issue billing statements to clients. The employee should issue statements of unpaid amounts to customers as of the end of each month.
Update client files. The employee should maintain accurate records of all invoices issued to customers.
Process credit memos. The employee should obtain approvals for credit memos and then process them in a timely manner.
Update the client master file. If customers change their contact information, the employee should update this information in the customer master file.
Prepare vouchers for payables.
