Job Description:

The Key Account Specialist is responsible for managing and strengthening relationships with key clients to ensure long-term business success. This role involves developing sales strategies, maintaining client satisfaction, coordinating with internal teams to meet customer needs, and identifying new business opportunities within assigned accounts. The position requires strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills to achieve sales targets and deliver excellent customer service.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and nurture relationships with key clients to achieve account growth and retention.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring timely and effective communication.
  • Identify client needs and coordinate with internal departments (sales, logistics, marketing, finance, etc.) to provide tailored solutions.
  • Develop account strategies and sales plans to meet revenue objectives.
  • Monitor sales performance and prepare regular reports on account status and sales forecasts.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Resolve customer issues and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities.
  • Support marketing and promotional initiatives relevant to key accounts.


Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or any related field.
  • At least 2–3 years of experience in key account management, sales, or customer relations (FMCG or manufacturing industry experience is an advantage).
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Results-driven with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Willing to travel for client meetings or field activities, if required.
