- Conduct timely follow-ups with insurance companies via phone (voice account) to check claim status and resolve outstanding balances.
- Review, analyze, and work on denied or unpaid claims to ensure proper reimbursement.
- Prepare and submit appeals based on payer-specific requirements.
- Document all actions taken on accounts in the system accurately and clearly.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues affecting payment, such as coding or eligibility discrepancies.
- Meet daily and weekly productivity metrics and adhere to quality standards.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance guidelines and reimbursement policies.
