- Set up and operate various types of metal fabrication machinery.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications of projects.
- Measure and cut raw materials to specified dimensions and tolerances.
- Assemble metal structures and pieces using welding, soldering, or other methods.
- Inspect and test finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience Level: 1-3 years of experience in metal fabrication or a related field
- Skills and Competencies: Proficiency in using hand tools and metalworking machines
- Qualities and Traits: Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Responsibilities and Duties: Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
