• Responsible for overseeing end-to-end Customs Brokerage operations, including transportation, warehousing, trucking, and delivery management.
• Leads strategic planning initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and elevate service quality.
• Manages and mentors a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Coordinates with vendors and third-party partners to negotiate contracts, ensure compliance, and optimize service levels.
• Monitors and analyzes KPIs, on-time delivery performance, and operational metrics to drive continuous improvement.
• Ensures full compliance with customs regulations and oversees budget planning, expense monitoring, and cost-saving efforts.
• Identifies opportunities for process optimization, automation, and implementation of industry best practices to enhance overall operational effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Customs Business Administration, or broad experience in Customs Brokerage
• Proven experience as Operations Manager or in a similar managerial role within the Customs brokerage or in relation to;
• Strong knowledge of Customs Brokerage processes, including transportation, shipment management, and distribution
• Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities to optimize operations and address challenges effectively
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing business needs
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency in operations
• A proactive approach with a demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and cost-saving initiatives
