The School/College Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and courteous transportation of students, faculty, staff, and visitors between campuses, residences, events, or designated locations. The driver ensures vehicle safety, complies with transportation policies, and maintains a professional and service-oriented demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students and staff to and from campuses, events, or designated locations
• Perform vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs
• Keep vehicle clean and organized
• Follow assigned routes and schedules
• Maintain logs or records as required by the school

Age: At least 21 years old

Education: High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

License:

• Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type
• A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a Passenger (P) endorsement may be required for larger vans or shuttle buses
• Strong communication skills
• Good judgment and reliability
• Professionalism in dealing with students, staff, and the public
• Knowledge of safe driving practices
• Ability to follow schedules and manage time well
• Willingness to conduct vehicle safety checks
