We are looking for a proactive and hands-on Assistant Plant Supervisor with a background in Mechanical Engineering to support daily operations in our nails and wire manufacturing plant. This role is responsible for assisting the Plant Supervisor in overseeing production activities, ensuring machinery efficiency, maintaining quality standards, and supporting workforce supervision. The position requires strong technical knowledge, leadership potential, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Plant Supervisor in managing daily plant operations to ensure production targets are met
• Supervise production line workers and provide technical guidance when needed
• Monitor machinery and equipment performance; coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance with the engineering team
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company standards within the plant
• Support quality control checks on raw materials and finished products (nails, wires, and related items)
• Maintain accurate production records, shift reports, and machine utilization logs
• Provide input in optimizing production processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness
• Help coordinate training for plant workers on safety, equipment use, and quality standards
• Report issues, delays, or equipment breakdowns promptly to management
• Assist in enforcing plant policies, discipline, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Licensed Engineer preferred)
• At least 2–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial plant environment
• Strong technical knowledge of machinery and mechanical systems
• Supervisory or team lead experience in a production setting is an advantage
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Willing to be assigned on-site and work on shifting schedules as required
