The Sales Account Executive / Sales Engineer is responsible for managing client accounts, driving sales growth, and providing technical expertise to ensure that the right solutions are delivered to customers. This role requires a balance of strong sales skills, technical knowledge, and excellent customer relationship management.


1. Sales and Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals, quotations, and product demonstrations.


2. Technical Solutions and Support

  • Provide technical expertise and product knowledge to address client requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams for accurate project execution.
  • Conduct product training, seminars, and client presentations when necessary.


3. Account and Client Management

  • Ensure client satisfaction through proactive account servicing and after-sales support.
  • Resolve customer issues and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain long-term business partnerships to ensure repeat and sustainable sales.

4. Market and Competitor Analysis

  • Research and monitor industry trends, competitors, and market opportunities.
  • Recommend sales strategies to improve market presence and achieve growth.
  • Represent the company at exhibitions, trade shows, and industry events.


5. Reporting and Documentation

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and account status.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and updates for management review.
  • Ensure proper documentation of contracts, proposals, and communications.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Electronics, or related field), or Business Administration / Marketing.
  • Additional training or certifications in Sales, Customer Relations, or Technical Sales is an advantage.


Experience:

  • At least 1–3 years of experience in technical sales, account management, or business development (preferably in construction, engineering, or industrial sectors).


Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Technical knowledge in engineering-related products and services.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Goal-driven, customer-focused, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools.
