  • Prospecting & Business Development
  • Identify, research, and target new clients in various sectors (plastics, coatings, automotive, marine, etc.).
  • Generate leads via cold calls, networking, referrals, trade shows, technical seminars.
  • Client Relationship Management
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers: regular visits, follow-ups, problem solving.
  • Understand customer needs, technical requirements, quality expectations.
  • Product & Technical Presentation
  • Present chemical products, explain features, uses, safety/data sheets, handling requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver quotations, proposals, cost-benefit analyses.
  • Negotiation & Closing
  • Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules.
  • Close sales according to company pricing and margin guidelines.
  • After-Sales Support & Feedback Loop
  • Ensure clients are satisfied; address complaints or issues.
  • Coordinate with technical, production, logistics teams to ensure proper delivery, quality, documentation.
  • Market Intelligence & Strategy
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, regulatory changes.
  • Provide feedback to management on product development, pricing strategy, and marketing.
  • Reporting & Forecasting
  • Regularly prepare sales forecasts, activity reports, pipeline status.
  • Track performance vs sales targets.
  • Compliance & Safety
  • Ensure knowledge of safety regulations, chemical handling guidelines, environmental requirements.
  • Follow company protocols in representing the product, especially data/safety sheets.
  • Travel & Mobility
  • Visit clients, sites, plants as needed.
  • Attend trade fairs, seminars, workshops for product and technical updates.
