The Security Guard will be assigned in one of the shops and would be responsible for ensuring the security and safety of people and premises. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: 

• PREVENT AND ANTICIPATE UNTOWARD INCIDENCES 

• Remain visible in the shop premises at all times therefore tardiness, absenteeism and abandoning the post are not acceptable behavior  

• Monitor the entrance and departure of employees and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of the shop. 

• Regular communication with mall security guards and in neighboring stores / buildings and get updates on prevailing modus operandi and any incidents occurring in the area. 

• PROTECT EMPLOYEES, COMPANY PROPERTY AND CLIENT’S PROPERTY 

• Observe browsers, client inquiries and sales transactions to prevent losses or theft during the sales presentation. 

• Protect the shop and its sales personnel from fraudulent individuals, violent outbursts or scandalous behavior, unwanted solicitors and vandals. 

• Perform routine inspection before and after closing hours of the showroom: ensure that the display counters and showcases are cleared of any jewelry and other valuable merchandise; that the vault and vault room is properly locked; and that the shop is properly and securely locked. 

• Ensure that the employees do not take home with them any jewelry item, valuables or other property of the company. 

• Check all staff when leaving work and check all products delivered to the shop
