Job Description: Technician (Toyota)

A Toyota Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Toyota vehicles to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. They use advanced diagnostic tools, follow Toyota’s service standards, and work closely with team members to deliver high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues in Toyota vehicles.
• Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, brake inspections, and tire rotations.
• Use Toyota-specific diagnostic equipment and tools to identify and address vehicle issues.
• Follow Toyota’s service protocols and guidelines to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Communicate findings, repairs, and maintenance needs to service advisors and customers.
• Perform test drives to ensure repairs and maintenance were successful.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification from a recognized automotive technical training program (preferred).
• Prior experience as an automotive technician (Toyota experience is an advantage).
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques.
• Familiarity with Toyota diagnostic tools (e.g., Techstream).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certifications.
• Toyota-specific certifications or training.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
