Duties & Responsibilities:

To work closely with the team to understand client objectives and contribute to campaign strategy with creative, innovative ideas

• The Video Editor Trainee is responsible for creating video content and assets for use across a wide variety of media, including social media, mobile platforms, and emerging media.
• Work with raw camera footage, video clips, photos, sound, music, and create visually stunning video assets and content.
• Expected to independently coordinate projects with the different departments and successfully submit requirements to requesters on time.
• Selects and combines the most effective and accurate shots in order to form a logical and smoothly running story/highlight
• Cuts sequences to different angles at specific points, making each individual cut as fluid and seamless as possible
• Handles audio leveling and color correction
• Ensures that videos used are accurate
• Handles Motion Graphics Requirements
• Edits the material in a timely fashion
• Create a scalable workflow for producing multiple videos per day/per editor
• Creates internal system in proper filing of ingested materials and archiving of files

Must have experience using these software:

1. Adobe Premiere

2. Adobe After Effects

3. Adobe Photoshop

4. Adobe Illustrator

• Bachelor’s Degree in Multimedia, Fine Arts, Computer Science or equivalent
• Graduating students are preferred

• Ability to simply translate design briefs and ideas into creative output through one’s own research, suggestions and interpretation

• Highly proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite applications
• Willingness to learn new skills and study new tools needed for creative projects
