Responsible for receiving merchandise under the standard procedures within the standard time of delivery. Records and monitors all merchandise including rejected ones for proper documentation and releasing.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Checks the merchandise randomly in terms of quantity, quality, and if properly tagged.
• Ensures that details written in the information sheet are clear, complete, and correct.
• Processes and verifies all the documents correctly.
• Accepts deliveries based on Receiving Authorization (RA) or Purchase Order (PO) in case system is not available.
• Checks for the accuracy of information on PO against Invoice (description, cost and unit of measure, quantity)
• Ensures accuracy in the documentation of merchandise received and released by the department.
• Handles properly merchandise to avoid damage and spoilage.
• Implements proper measures to prevent pilferage and shrinkage.
• Reports promptly to the warehouse-in-charge any price discrepancy in the deliveries for coordination with the Merchandising department.
• Monitors and processes documents with problems immediately before submitted.
• Records and releases all rejected merchandise back to the supplier.
• Acts upon discrepancy reports immediately.
• Coordinates with Dispatch Section regarding customer orders for immediate transfer of merchandise to respective designated stores.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php15,000.00 - Php18,000.00 per month
