We are seeking an experienced Country Manager with a strong background in payment channels and fintech to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in establishing strategic partnerships, negotiating agreements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and launch innovative products. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent negotiation skills, a deep understanding of the fintech landscape, and a passion for driving business growth.
Strategic Partnerships:
- Identify and establish strategic partnerships with payment institutions, electronic money institutions (EMIs), and financial institutions.
- Negotiate and draft commercial agreements to drive mutual business growth.
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies aligned with company goals.
Business Development:
- Drive business development initiatives to expand the company’s network and market presence.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new market opportunities and inform product development decisions.
- Spearhead the establishment and management of payment business channel systems, including the expansion, connection, and maintenance of payment channels (domestic and international banks, financial institutions, etc.) and clearing networks to ensure channel stability and diversity.
API Integration & Aggregation:
- Oversee the integration and aggregation of APIs for financial services, ensuring seamless and efficient service delivery.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and operations teams to deliver products on time and within budget.
- Manage the connection, initiation, and efficient operation of channel nodes, including business negotiations, acquiring qualifications, driving system launches, and enhancing network capabilities.
Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across banking, fintech, and other relevant sectors.
- Represent the company in negotiations and partnerships, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
Revenue Growth:
- Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth through innovative business models and additional revenue streams.
- Set and achieve goals for revenue and business growth.
Marketing and Community Building:
- Develop and execute strategic marketing plans to build brand awareness and drive user growth.
- Establish a comprehensive Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for channel operations to aid the team in efficiently addressing channel-related issues and standardizing the account opening process.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development, product management, strategic partnership, or a similar role in the fintech industry.
- Proven experience in payments, or blockchain products.
- Strong negotiation skills and a demonstrated ability to close deals.
- Expertise in API integration and aggregation for financial services.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of finance-related licensing policies and compliance requirements in Brazil and other relevant countries.
- Established industry networks are highly preferred.
